Are there any political issues or civil liberties you actively promote or defend (through volunteer/grassroots efforts)? What are they? Do most of your friends feel similarly?

I'm against animal testing, I try to buy products that are not tested on animals.

I have nothing for but a funny icon....

Writer's Block: Holiday cheer

Do you tend to get nostalgic during the holidays? Depressed? Giddy? How do the winter holidays make you feel?

Depressed, because the magic of Christmas is gone for me...

Writer's Block: Like mobile for chocolate

If you had to give up either chocolate or your mobile phone forever, which would you sacrifice?

My phone...

Writer's Block: The morning after

Do you usually experience a let-down after the holidays or a wave of relief that the social obligations are over?

I haven't really enjoyed the Holidays much in the past couple of years, and sometimes it can stretch for days, going to every fucking house! All the food and fake enthusiasm. This year my sister and myself drove about drinking out of the bottle of wine and looking at lights. Tried to steal a runaway inflatable.
Are there any classic holiday movies or TV shows that you look forward to watching year after year? What are your all-time favorites? Are there any you simply can't stand?

I love the orginal 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas', Rudolph The Red-Nose Reindeer, and It's A Charlie Brown Christmas.
I don't like Frosty the Snowman.

Writer's Block: Starting from Scratch

What would it take to get you to start a new life on a new world?

Well in I'm living in Florida now, so that is just about the same. Going from Atlanta to Gulf Breeze...

I finally got the porch light changed!

Nothing is going on!

I will tell you it was tricky getting the light casing open...

Writer's Block: Entertainment Center

How has technology changed the way you watch movies and listen to music?

Yeah, it's easier to get the music and movies. Also to discover new artists and bands or movies and actors.

I made a friend today!

So yesterday my sister sent me some codes (that work) to the Blockbuster Express rental kiosk in Publix, luckily there is a kiosk in the Publix near us. Rented Transformers 2 last night, it was okay, Shia LaBeouf looked hot in it, but so did Megan Fox, it's her job. Today got up early (7:00am), returned the robots in disguise, and picked up 17 Again, which I'm glad they had, I've been wanting to see it. I just rented the other one, because it was free and I love me some LaBeouf. Then tottled down to the one end of the shopping centre, looking in the shops and some of them were just getting set up for the day, or not even open (it was early). Too cold for ice cream and I didn't have the coupons I received in the mail the other day for the ice cream shop or the sweet shop, might go back next week , maybe Monday. Then made my way to the other end of the strip to The Emerald Turtle, a shop my sister would love. I knew that they had collegiate things so I knew I could find something for Emily. I ended up getting her some Auburn pasta salad mix, I thought it kinda funny and if I can't find an Auburn Snuggie she will have something from for Christmas. Plus, who doesn't like pasta salad? Found, with the help of the very nice shop girl, a little cow drain stop for Carla, my sister's mother-in-law, who loves her bovine. Didn't find anything for Mommles, it's not really her kind of shop, but the shop girl, whose mom owns the store, helped me to think of some things to get for her. We chatted a bit about things and I think I made a new friend today.
